ELEVEN
The story Eleven written by Sandra Cisneros is a story about a girl who gets her birthday ruined by a smelly, old, red sweater.
There are three reasons why the main character Rachel is credible. Those reasons are that she would act like an eleven year old would . Another reason is that she tries to tell the teacher that the sweater is not hers, but is to quiet to say anything. The last reason is that she cries because a nasty sweater thats not hers.
The first reason is that she acts like a person her age would. She feels like one of those wooden dolls with litte dolls inside of it. A doll for each age,for eleven, ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, and one. She feels like a tree trunk with all the rings for each age. Rachel is credible because everyone her age would act the way she did in her classroom.
The second reason is she tries to tell the teacher that the red sweater is not hers but she is to afraid to tell her. She wants to tell her but she just can't get out the words. Then she has to wear a nasty sweater thats not hers because of that girl Felicia Garcia. Rachel is credible because she wishes she could tell her taecher that she is wrong but she can't form the words.
The third reason is that she cries in front of her class. She cries because shehas to wear a hideous, nasty, ugly, old sweater that is not hers. She tries to get the sweater as far away as possible but the taecher sees her and makes her put the sweater on. Rachel is credible because she tries to get the sweater as far as possible and she cries because she hates the sweater.
In conclusion Rachel has many reasons to be credible. And it turns out the sweater belongs to Phyliss whatever her last name is. And Rachel gets to go home to cake and a soon to be good birthday.
